Getting to the ROOT

As an Internegative Nutrition Coach, I am always looking for ways to get source, the root of the problem so a permanent solution can be implemented.

There are typically four areas to start your search, the underlying cause, physiological damages, various body systems and the obvious your symptoms.

The Underlying Cause, think of the bottom of the roots of the tree. It could be trauma, infections deep in the gut, food intolerances even blood sugar imbalances. These all act as underlying contributors to eventual development of symptoms at the surface.

The Physiological Damages, think of the base of the tree just under the dirt line. These can manifest as out of control blood sugar management or insulin resistance, chronic inflammation either known or unknown, a state of starvation but not in the way you think, but in the way of not properly giving your body the nutrients, vitamins and minerals it desperately craving, and last harmful free radicals free flowing in your body and it not having the proper nutrition to fight them off.

Your Different Body Systems, think the branches of the tree with leaves free flowing grasping for light and air. As the physiological damages and underlying causes take hold, stresses out of control and your hormones, thyroid, gut, adrenals, brain, nervous system, immune system, kidneys, muscle mass all take the brunt and suffer in silence until a plethora of symptoms arise. Then follows numerous medical or worse hospital visits occur and then free flowing prescriptions and never-ending adverse effects from the medication until you feel out of control.

But there is hope, by focusing on the initiators of disease and taking a gut health approach, finding solutions for a more permanent future is possible. I address the root causes in a four teer approach including lifestyle, health challenges via symptoms, address gut biome and optimizing health. But also understanding everyone is different so every approach is different, similar but still very bio individual.

If we don’t address the root causes, they will continue to wreak havoc on our lives.
