Manifesting, are you a believer?

To bring something into existence has always been an interesting concept to me. It was first introduced to me in high school in a class called P.M.A (Positive Mental Attitude) taught by a 4’10’, 175# sweet lady named Ms. Miller. She was funny, kind, generous and above all very positive. She taught from books by Zig Ziglar, Wayne Dyer, Stephen Covey to name a few. She was passionate about the subject and very patient with her classes. As you can imagine in 1987 a bunch of rowdy high school kids who were set to graduate in 1988, this subject was an elective and we treated it as such. But one day something she said was so profound it stuck with me to this day, if you believe in something and you take action, it will come true. There have been many times in my life I got through things by remembering this simple statement. I have never been afraid of hard work or starting from zero. I am sure Ms. Miller would be proud today if she knew what a difference she made in some many of our lives.

Here are a few ways to help you manifest things into your own life, but first you can always read The Law Of Attraction and the Four Agreements.

  • Clarity and Specificity: Get really clear on what you want. The more specific you are, the better. Don’t just say “I want to be happy,” figure out what “happy” means to you and what would make you feel happy.
  • Visualization: Spend time each day vividly imagining yourself achieving your goal. See yourself in the situation you desire, feeling the emotions you want to feel.
  • Positive Affirmations: Positive affirmations are statements that you repeat to yourself to challenge negative thoughts and cultivate a positive mindset. Examples include “I am worthy of success” or “I am achieving my goals every day.”
  • Law of Attraction: The Law of Attraction is the idea that like attracts like. By focusing on positive thoughts and emotions, you can attract positive experiences into your life.
  • Vision Board: Create a vision board that includes images and words that represent your goals. This is a visual reminder of what you’re working towards.
  • Taking Inspired Action: While manifestation isn’t just about sitting back and waiting for things to happen, it is about taking action aligned with your goals. This might involve learning new skills, networking with people in your field, or simply starting small and taking a step in the right direction.

It’s important to remember that there is no guaranteed formula for manifestation. Some people find these practices helpful, while others don’t. The key is to find what works for you and to cultivate a positive mindset and take inspired action towards your goals.
